The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) have launched a youth entrepreneurship programme for the Sahel region of Africa.

The TEF-UNDP Sahel Youth Entrepreneurship program will prepare, tutor and monetarily bolster 100,000 youthful business persons in Africa in 10 years. The objective is to create 10million new employments and generate in revenue $10 billion in revenue across Africa.

The TEF-UNDP Sahel Youth Entrepreneurship Program is an organization between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) to engage 100,000 extra business persons for more than 10 years from seven Sahel African nations: Northern Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroun, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso. The association will target youthful Africans in under-served networks.

The objective is to create 10million new employments and contribute $10billion in revenue to the African economy.

The Program influences the attempted and approved way to deal with magnanimity on the mainland spearheaded by the Tony Eluemlu Foundation. It organizes and positions business enterprise as the key empowering influence to catalyze the financial advancement of the African landmass.

Eligibility

  • You must be an African entrepreneur residing in any of the listed countries: Northern Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroun, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso
  • Your business must not be more than 3years in existence. Potential businesses at the idea stage are encouraged.
